Yes, that’s right free money. If you are a first time homebuyer or haven’t owned a home in the last 3 years you are entitled to the new homebuyers’ tax credit of $8,000. And, the good news is that you can get it almost immediately when filing your 2008 tax return. So what are you waiting for?? Buy that new home this year before the credit expires.
